Consultant Otolaryngologist - Head & Neck Surgeon

The Hospital, located inLower Hutt and part of Local District Health Board is a busy 260 generaldistrict hospital, serving a population of 140, 000.Our client’s ORL service isseeking to appoint a new generally trained Consultant Otolaryngologist withFellowship training in head and neck oncological resection. Here, you’ll workwith a team of like-minded colleagues and exceptional staff in a collaborativeenvironment. You will be joining three other otolaryngologists at Hutt, and bepart of a sub-regional team of seven Consultants. All their surgeons do a mixof general otolaryngology and sub-specialty work. Existing sub-specialtyinterests are rhinology, paediatric ORL, otology, head and neck andlaryngology. The service works closely with an excellent plastic surgicalservice who participate in head and neck MDM and provide excellentreconstructive support including free flaps. Bi-monthly head and neck MDMs withoncology and allied health support occur.
